My condolences to Bessie's family. She was a great lady. She was my teacher for 4 years at the old Wells Graded School. My fondest memories are of my first "job" helping Bessie with cleaning, waxing the hardwood floors in her home. Everything had to be just so. She was a kind and wonderful women and has gone home to be one of God's heavenly angels.

To all the family I extend my deepest sympathy. With Bessie's passing I have lost a true friend and a colleague at Mosherville School, who truly cared for the children she taught. She was always so glad to hear about her students. Her love of family and community, and those she taught was easily recognized. I will cherish the many wonderful memories I hold of Bessie. My thoughts and prayers will be with each of you on Sunday. Each of you, her children, have been there for her. God bless you. Sincerely, Harlan and Jackie too
