Carl Morrell Obituary
Died peacefully at home on July 2, 2008. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, corner of Water and Walnut Sts., on Sunday, July 6, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 7, 2008 at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church. Interment, with full military honors, will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Greenburg and staff for the wonderful care given Carl during the past years; Patti, Staci and Carrie for their professional and loving care; and Maggie Lagonegro for spiritual comfort and many visits.

I never knew Carl Senior.. but I am SURE it is my loss. I have been Emailing Carl Jr for years since i discovered that the "other" IBMer named Morrell was related. Carl Jr kept me informed of his dad's status and that he would love to meet me. But i never made the time. I am so sorry.
there is NEVER enough time.
My sympathy goes out to all the family but especiallly Carl Jr. and his kids.

I remember Carl from my childhood in the late 40's and early 50's when he delivered mail to us on Third Street. I always looked forward to seeing him; especially in the summer when I was off from school. He always had a smile for me and a few kind words of wisdom.
