Daniel Cady Obituary
Race # 731
Age 26, born May 9th, 1988. Passed away peacefully August 27, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his mother, Denise (Knapp) Cady, and his father, Anthony (Ruth Kittle) Cady; his siblings, Desiree (Anthony Lopenzo) Cady, Justin Judson Cady, Jordan Judson Cady, Patrick Judson, and Rebecca Judson; his grandparents, Donna (Dave) Wilcox and Sandra Knapp; great-great grandmother Winona Winters, aunts and uncles, Art (Christina) Cady Jr., Raye (Ed) Seisinger, Kaye Vedder, and Darcy (Doug) Allen, Karen (Robert) Coats, and Tom Knapp Jr.; niece, Olivia (Livers) Lopenzo; and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Art Cady Sr. and Thomas Knapp Sr. He graduated from Southside High School in 2006. He graduated from Corning Community College with an Associates degree in 2008 and then from Brockport College with a Bachelors degree in 2010. He was employed by Fox Pizza in Campbell, NY. Daniel had a passion for Motor Cross Racing and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and life. Funeral services honoring his life will be held at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2014. Calling hours will be held there from 4 PM to 7 PM followed by a Memorial service at 7:00 PM. Father John DeSocio will be officiating. In lieu of flowers please donate to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 505 North Parkway, Box 3704, Memphis, TN 38105 or the charity of one's choice. I'm so very sorry for your loss! You raised a wonderful young man! I had the pleasure of teaching him Global History and then having him in my advisement class for 2 years. But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;

It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
