Deborah D'Angelo Obituary

Deborah Ann (Walsh) Of Mansfield, PA Age 41 of Barnes Drive in Mansfield died Friday, December 1, 2000 at her home. She was born in Philadelphia, October 12, 1959 and is the daughter of Eugene and Irene (Kolmegies) Walsh, both of Mansfield, PA. She was a 1977 graduate of the Mansfield High School and on August 2, 1989 married Thomas D'Angelo, who survives at home. She was a member of the Holy Child Catholic Church of Mansfield and was a past member of the First United Methodist Church of Mansfield. She was a member of the Mansfield Business and Professional Women's Club, a troop leader of Mansfield #579 Girl Scouts, a volunteer parent at the Warren Miller Elementary School and was an avid bingo player. She participated in a fundraising for the Ronald McDonald House of Syracuse, New York. She was a supporter of Mansfield Hose Company and the Mansfield Ambulance Company and local law enforcement agencies. She was her senior class president of her 1977 high school graduating class and was outstanding in track and field. She enjoyed traveling, computers, gardening and bird-watching. She was General Manager of McDonald's in Mansfield from 1979 to 1999. Surviving in addition to herhusband and parents, are one daughter, Brittany Lynn D'Angelo of Mansfield; two brothers, Edward E. Walsh of Reading and Robert M. and Sharon Walsh of Towanda, PA. She is also survived by her sister, Jennifer T. (Walsh) and John Aument of Selingsgrove, PA. There are two step-children, Thomas J. D'Angelo of Mansfield and Nicole D'Angelo of Mansfield. Funeral mass will me held on Tuesday, December 5th at 11:00 AM at the Holy Child Catholic Church, 242 S. Main Street, Mansfield; Father Louis Kaminski will be officiating. There will be a visitation at the Scureman Funeral Home, Inc., 130 S. Main Street, Mansfield, PA on Monday, December 4th from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery, Mansfield on Tuesday, December 5th. All contributions will be dispersed to her favorite charitable organizations. Make contributions payable to: Thomas D'Angelo, PO Box #1, Mansfield, PA 16933.
