Doris Podleski Obituary
Age 86, joined her husband John in Heaven on April 22, 2015. Doris was the only child of Charlotte (Chamberlain) and her former husband, Walton Hamilton. Doris is survived by her children, Dolleen Pariso and John (Lore) Podleski; grandchildren, Angela, Sarah and Brian; great grandchildren, Caleb and Magnolia; and aunt, Bethaldo "Tootsie" Wright and her family members. Predeceased by her husband in 2000, and son-in-law, Donald Pariso in 2013. Doris was known for her caregiving, baking and love of dancing - especially the Polka. Calling hours will be at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. in Elmira on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Funeral and committal services celebrating Doris' life will be held there at 5:00 PM. The interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family in Woodlawn National Cemetery in Elmira. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial donation to Alzheimer's Association, 425 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY 14904.

John & Dolleen,
Jeff Barnes and myself extend our deepest sympathy. Aunt Doris and I had quite a few lengthy phone calls awhile back and was the only one to give me much needed answers to my questions concerning my family background. She was a lovely lady, may she rest in peace.
