Douglas G. Salisbury

Lowman - 84 of Lowman, NY died Tuesday, December 8, 2020. He was born in Hornell, NY on November 26, 1936. He is survived by his children, Ronald (Annmarie) Verna, Edward "Lucky" Verna, Michael Salisbury, Deborah Salisbury, Beth (Ben) Kathan, Bobbie (Leon) Dean, Pam (Brian) Nowlan; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; predeceased by his wives Marie (Verna) Salisbury & Mary (Lipani) Salisbury; children, David Verna, Frank Verna III, Gary Salisbury, Edward Salisbury & Kathy Widman. Douglas was retired from Kennedy Valve and a Veteran US Air Force, Korea. He was a great father, loved his children, worked hard and enjoyed junking and auctions. He was a junk man through and through. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Kalec Funeral Home on Saturday, December 12th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Followed by his Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Burial to follow in Fitzsimmons Cemetery, Southport NY. His Calling Hours and Burial must maintain Social Distancing guidelines.

Grandpa, I love you so much, you will be missed very much! I'm grateful for all the times we spent together these last four years. I have learned a lot from you. I'm glad you are not suffering anymore. I know I will see you again in heaven.
