Edward Lazorchak Obituary

LAZORCHAK, Edward Dennis
69, of Kendal Court, Savannah, GA, passed away Saturday, June 28th, 2008, at his home. He was born in Clifton, NJ on February 7, 1939, the son of Edward and Lillian (Blankennagel) Lazorchak. A 1956 graduate of Clifton High School, he attended Pratt Institute, Clemson University, and Oklahoma University. He spent 6 years in the Air Force National Guard as a fireman. He worked for multiple companies throughout his career, which was focused on Marketing and Engineering in the ball bearing industry. He was also influential in the electronic clutch and brake industry and was awarded multiple U.S. patents during his tenure as National Marketing Manager and Vice President of Electroid Co., and ended his career in 2006 at SEPAC Industries in Elmira, NY. He is survived by his wife, Luci; his son, Patrick; his daughter, Kathleen; a granddaughter, Megan; a brother, Richard; and cousins, Warren, Judy, and Joette Vitellaro; as well as Richard and Jan Blankennagel. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fly fishing, and devoted many years of service as a volunteer fireman in Bergen County, NJ. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Those who wish may send a donation in memory of Edward to the American Cancer Society.
