Uncle Bucky:
I will always remember your warm smile. I know the battle you fought was hard, but you did it with all your might and now are at peace with no more pain and suffering. Rest in peace and know that you will be truly missed by all of us! God Bless.

Grandpa you will be missed by everyone. I am just glad that you are not suffering and are now at peace. It will be different visiting at the trailor without you. I remember the time you gave me a puff of your cigarette at the age of 6, I think just because I thought it was the coolest thing ever at the time. Well you showed me that coughing and hacking on that puff wasn't so cool after all. Thank you for keeping me in line lol. I also remember just about everytime we came to visit you you had those amazingly good glazed donuts that you liked so much. I will make sure we get them so that we can have one with you. I just hope you like the donuts up there as good as the ones down here. WE WILL MISS YOU GRANDPA AND WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU! OH I hope you don't pack heaven to full of your fabulous treasures that you find cause we '' ALL'' know you like to keep a lot of stuff.
Love, Your grandson

Well dad.... Dec. 8th. all your loved ones had to lay you to rest. I am now back home trying to live my life knowing that we will never be able to see that sweet smile of yours again, well not until our day comes that is. I want you to know that I am so proud of you in so many ways.... you were a dedicated father, hard worker, husband, grandfather, brother and friend. You were so strong head held high with no regrets while battling the horrific ALS disease. No one could of pulled through as strong and motivated as you did. Like I had told you so many times during your last two weeks at home, it was an honor to finally get the chance to take care of you. I am glad you chose to come home from the hospital to be with your loving family and spend those last moments you had with us. I wish we had many more years together but guess we will take what we got. My fondest memory will be that first night you came home from the hospital Amy, Amanda and I crashed on your bedroom floor just waiting with excitement to tend to any need of yours. It made us feel like your three lil amigos lol. It of coarse would of been better to have Michael by our sides but he was with me another night. We will keep your memory alive by everything that you have taught us. We will also try and keep those holidays you loved happy and cheerful, even though it will be a very hard task without you by our sides. Dad open your wings and fly high with no regets.... you are now in a better place pain free. Till we meet again you will never be forgotten. P.s. Your children will take care of mom and Sparky so don't worry.

Dear Brother, our hearts are broken and you surely will be missed by many famlies and friends, espically your "Big Smile and care free spirit", and now it is time for you to rest as you have suffered way to much and you were so courageous in your battle. You were very lucky to have such a devoted family to love and be with you. Now "Dear Brother" it is time for you to get the rest you truly deserve. God be with you. Love you always, Sister Sandy and Keith

Life, too often, mimics spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
Yet for each passing season in our lives, each should be a special time longingly remembered...
Years have passed since I last saw Eugene, at the end of our childhood summer; however, the memories remain just as fresh as though yesterday.
Times spent together, encompassing all those adventurous springs, summers, autumns, and winters have continually stirred up fond memories.
Family, my deepest heartfelt condolence at your loss.
I feel blessed having known Bucky; his having been a true friend through it all.

Uncle Bucky, you can rest peacefully now-with no more pain and suffering. You were brave and courageous, and from what I've heard kept a pretty good attitude. I remember the one time Mom and I ran into you and the family in the old Ames store in Wellsboro...you snuck your puppy in the store under your coat. I thought that was great!
God Bless you and your family,
Love,

Uncle Bucky, mine will be a memory, one of my fondest of you cause it still puts a smile on my face when i think of it.
one day when i was alot younger uncle bucky aunt jeannie and the girls came to visit, this was way before mike and mandy a long time ago but i am sure my mom has shared this one with you. we had this dog pebbles and she liked to torment uncle bucky, on this day mom tipped over our burning barrel and under it was a nest of snakes, now bucky was not fond of snakes and pebbles must have known this she snatched one up and proceeded to chase a screaming uncle bucky around the yard and through the house as we watched laughing, the point is when ever we all got together all we did was laugh he was so good hearted. so march on uncle bucky upstairs will be smiling alot with you tell my dad hello for me and watch out pebbles is probably waiting for you with a litte suprise, peace and we love you
Ford surine, Rebecca Reed, and Trenton Surine wish he could have gotten to know his great uncle better.

A Reminiscence
YES, thou art gone! and never more
Thy sunny smile shall gladden me;
But I may pass the old church door,
And pace the floor that covers thee.
May stand upon the cold, damp stone,
And think that, frozen, lies below
The lightest heart that I have known,
The kindest I shall ever know.
Yet, though I cannot see thee more,
'Tis still a comfort to have seen;
And though thy transient life is o'er,
'Tis sweet to think that thou hast been;
To think a soul so near divine,
Within a form so angel fair,
United to a heart like thine,
Has gladdened once our humble sphere.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

To my prescious father, dad you will be so greatly missed each day-the tears will shed forever in the pain of loosing you. I'll always remember you as the greatest father in the world, the strongest and by far the hardest worker anyone could imagine. Everyone was so proud of you and what you accomplished through your years, there was always people telling us how they appreciated you in everything you done. It's going to be such a struggle living day to day without you dad ,by me and so many others. Remember you are always in our hearts and loved so dearly!!!!I don't know of one person out there that could of been a more prescious father than you, thank you for everything! Rest in Peace! LOVE YOU DAD!!!!!!!!!One day we'll meet again.
