Jacqueline Hague Obituary

Jacqueline E. (Shay) Died on Wednesday, December 21, 2005, at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center in Pottstown, PA. She was 78. Mrs. Hague was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She worked as an executive secretary for the Hair Express Corporate Office in King of Prussia, PA, until her retirement in 1992. Jacqueline attended Elmira Free Academy in Elmira, NY, Elmira College, and Pierce Jr. College. She ran dog training classes for many years and was a long standing member of the Delaware Valley German Shepherd Dog Club where she was the editor for their newsletter for many years. Jacqueline was an avid reader who enjoyed the classic arts. She was a donator for many charities and organizations, especially public TV stations. Jacqueline was also a local Girl Scout leader for many years. Born in Elmira, NY on February 17, 1927, she was a daughter of the late H. Paul and Bertha L. (Lunny) Shay. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 56 years, John R. Hague; a son, Robert P. Hague and his wife, Tracey of Maryland; two daughters, Suzanne L. Murray of Pottstown, PA, and Maureen A. Tihansky and her husband, Andrew of Amity, PA; two grandchildren, Andrew J. Tihansky and Robert M. Tihansky; one great-grandchild, Taylor Tihansky; a sister, Sonjia M. Shay of Elmira, NY; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a son, Gary R. Hague who died in 1970. Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service at The Bacchi-Courtney Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Wednesday, December 28, 2005, at 12:30 p.m. Friends may call Wednesday at 12 noon at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jacqueline's memory to the American Lung Association, 527 Plymouth Rd., Suite 403, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. Arrangements are by The Bacchi-Courtney Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., Bridgeport, PA.
