Joann Fletcher

Joann M. Age 94, of Montour Falls, NY, formerly of Hector, died Monday, February 23, 2004, at Schuyler Hospital. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 28, at 2 p.m. at the Hector Presbyterian Church, Rev. Cynthia Harvey officiating. Memorials in expression of sympathy may be made to the Hector Presbyterian Church. Joann was born January 29, 1910 in Youngstown, OH, to Fred and Henrietta Weinberger Laufer. She was married to the late Alfred Fletcher, who died in 1979. Surviving are brothers-in-law Ted (Irene) Fletcher of Interlaken, and Charles Fletcher of California; sisters-in-law, Joanna (Richard) Weatherby of Interlaken, NY, Judith Fletcher of Ithaca, and Marion Laufer of Burnsville, NC; niece, Erna (Lou) Draper of Staunton, VA; and several other nieces and nephews. Joann was a member and Elder of the Hector Presbyterian Church, and also of Schuyler County Senior Citizens, and R.S.V.P. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.
