He was a great guy, I loved him as a great man and friend. I go to the Woodlawn National Cemetery quite often so I will be there for Joe the next time I'm there. To the Seidel Family:

My heart goes out to you. I'm saddened to hear about the loss of Joe. I will miss him dearly and will keep the wonderful memories I have of him with me forever. I always loved coming over to Section 104 at the arena to visit with him and JoAnn. My favourite memory of Joe was this hat he'd wear to almost every game that said "Ain't I something?" That's the first thing he'd say to me when I came over to visit them. I can still hear Joe saying that. :-) JoAnn and I would always reply back with "Yeah, you're somethin' alright!" We always had such a good time and I will surely miss that. My thoughts & prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

Joann, alhough I haven't stayed in touch with little Joe, I've often thought about our time as kids on E Clinton Street. We lived across the street from Jule and Joe and played together a lot. I told my sister who told me of little Joe's death about memories of Joe Sr taking all of us kids to Watkins Glenn and the park at the end of the lake. He'd take his little stove and fix hot dogs and a fantastic sauce he made. We'd all swim and eat and have a great time. Know that both he and Jule were one of a kind people and we'll miss them both very very much. Try to remember the good times and stay close with family and may God give you the strength needed to get through these very touch times. My prayers are with you and the rest of the family. Please also give Paul my regards.

Life passes by way too quickly, but during the course of it you get to meet some good people. If your lucky you get to meet some great ones. Not only did I get to meet a great one, I was fortunate enough to be related to him. Joe took the role of my uncle 45 plus years ago.Later he overtook another role...one as my teacher, my coach,my friend and my mentor. i tried to get there before he left us and it just wasn't meant to be. I'll miss him every day the sun comes up..I guess all I can say now is ...goodbye Dad.

I am so saddened that Joe is gone. I can't imagine Heaven with Julie and Joe going through the Gates at the same time. Heaven will never be the same! The four of us certainly have had some great times over the years. Joe had such a booming laugh and great sense of humor. Julie and Joe's stories would go on forever. I just can't believe that Joe is gone.
Love, Bobbie
