Jackson, Julia A.

Age 69, of Lindley, NY passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016 peacefully at home. Julia was born May 1, 1947, a daughter of the late Donald and Helen Rose Marriot. She was predeceased by her son, Michael David, step father William Walczak and brothers, Robert Farnsworth and Richard Dill. She is survived by her loving husband Milford Jackson, with whom she celebrated 53 years of marriage, sons and daughters-in-law, Reverend Randy and Helen Jackson of Horseheads, Brian Jackson, of Florida, and Kevin and Carrolin Jackson of Mt. Morris, NY; grandchildren, Rachel (Seth) Jividen, David (Jessica), Micah (Melissa), Zachary (Abigail), Zackery; great granddaughter, Lillianna; sisters, Beverly (Carol) Gosper and Leanne Gallagher; many nieces, nephews and family friends. Julia was extremely devoted to her family, an avid lover of animals, southern gospel music, and most of all her Savior, Jesus Christ. Family and friends are invited to Haughey Funeral Home, 216 E. First Street, Corning on Tuesday, August 23th, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. again on Wednesday August 24th, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 2:15 p.m. Interment in Nondaga Cemetery, Bath NY.
