Karen Osborne Obituary
Elmira: died peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on July 15, 2015. Karen is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Bob Osborne; daughters, Angela (Bob) Court and Suzanne Ferko, both of Elmira; grandchildren, Rebecca (Olson) Willett, Jacob and Sarah Olson, Hailey, Robert, Jr. and Riley Court; and her special companion, Molly the cat. She is predeceased by her parents Robert and June Wilcox and brother, Robert Wilcox, Jr. Karen was employed by Able 2 for 26 years. She loved the residents she cared for, and considered her co-workers to be family. Karen was given the Employee of the Year award in 2014 and the Career of Distinction award in 2015. Karen always had a smile on her face and saw the good in everyone. Please consider a donation, in her memory, to the Falck Cancer Center, 600 Roe Avenue, Elmira NY 14905. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

I will always remember Karen as one of the few persons that I have met in my life that i never heard her say anything mean or negative about another person. Quite a feat. A very kind soul to all.

I was shocked to hear the bad news, and very saddened. Karen was always smiling, no matter what the situation. Even when we were in a bad car accident, and she was seriously injured, she was in control, and much more calm than I was. (And Karen was the one injured, not me.) Everyone who knew Karen knows that there has always been a special place set aside for her in Heaven, with the best of company around her.

You were definitely 1 of a kind..you will be missed my friend..remembering the fun times at work we had and the times you me kb would go to ramseys we had the best times our casino trips. I will miss you. I spent a lot of time with you almost to end sorry I couldn't be there at the end but I know I will see you on the other side...
