Marshall Whitney Powers

Willow Spring, NC - Marshall Whitney Powers of Willow Spring, North Carolina passed away suddenly December 26, 2017.

Born June 23, 1964 in Elmira, New York, son of Patricia L and Whitney S "Bud" Powers who are deceased. Survived by his son William, wife Julia, step children Brandon and Brittany Simonson, brother Peter (Joanne) Powers, sisters Elizabeth (Alan) Perry, Linda (Anthony) Orbanac, Margaret Powers, Laura (Alex) Hill and 6 nieces and nephews.

Marshall loved his dogs Colt and Hollie, reading, rock concerts and amusement park roller coasters. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from NCSU and an Associates in Respiratory Care from Durham Technical College. Having his own respiratory issues, he enjoyed helping others. In 2012 he took on a second career in computer technology. He will be missed.

So sorry to here about Marshall's passing. Was a good friend in elementary school. Always remember the fun times we had up to your parents place!! From selling xmas tress fishing and playing in the woods!!! Rest in Peace!!
