Maurice B. Lamos

Maurice B. Age 88 of 402 College Avenue, Odessa, NY passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2002 at the Seneca View Nursing Facility, Montour Falls, NY, Mr. Lamos was predeceased by his wife Lillian B. Lamos on February 23, 1995. He is survived by his children Bessie (Rev. Harry) Barrigar of Odessa, NY, Rev. William Lamos of San Jose, CA, Ruthann Meade of Odessa, NY and Rev. Marvin (Patti) Lamos of Odessa, NY. 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Sisters, Leola Ross of Scotia, NY and Carol (Dale) Wilson of Venice, FL. Brother, Tarbell (Charlotte) Lamos of No. Syracuse, NY. Numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Lamos was a member of the Long Lake Wesleyan Church. He retired from the National Lead Mining Co. of Tahawus, NY as a shovel operator. He was an Adirondack Hunting Guide and a Deputy Sheriff for Hamilton County. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 534 Church St., Odessa, NY on Thursday, August 29, 2002 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and again at the Bentley Creek Wesleyan Church on Friday, August 30, 2002 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. His funeral service will follow at the church at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Harry Barrigar and Rev. Marvin Lamos will officiate. Interment Long Lake Cemetery, Long Lake, NY.
