Dear Phil and Family,
I read with great sadness about Myra's passing. She made the best rhubarb pie in the state. I could always count on her for coffee and pie while I talked with Phil. I will always remember her smile, her sense of humor, and her love for her family.

When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight. ~Kahlil Gibran

My thoughts are with you all. I will always remember Myra's smile. But more than ever I will remember what a good friend she was to my Mother.

Phil, Steve, Carolyn, and Sue -
A friend from Spencer just contacted me about your mother's passing. I very sorry for your loss. I have so many fond memories of your mother when I was growing up in Van Etten. More than the good food, and fun, I remember her incredible sweetness. She was one of the nicest people I've ever known.

Dear Phil and Family,
I wish to extend my deepest sympathy on the loss of your beloved wife, mother and nana.
It's been many years, but I still remember days spent in your kitchen doing projects for 4-H. Not only did she teach us how to cook and sew, she showed by example how to be a loving wife and mother.
May you all be comforted by the knowledge that she is in God's arms right now. Our prayers are with you.
Yours,
