Paul Blanc Obituary

Paul E. Age 81, Baumpy, husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2003, at a local care center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2003, at Cloverdale Funeral Home, Boise, ID. Burial will follow in Terrace Lawn Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Cloverdale Funeral Home. Paul was raised in Elmira, NY. He went off to WWII in 1943 and served in North Africa and Europe. He was wounded and returned to America in 1946. He married Gussie, moved to California and raised four daughters, Karen, Paula, Patti and Dyan. He worked in the film industry and retired from Universal Studios. He moved to Boise, ID, three years ago to be with family. Paul was a loving man with a big heart. He'll always be in ours. Paul was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Newhall, CA, Elks Lodge of Boise, ID, life member of DAV in Los Angeles. He was one of few serving members of DEL-Y Club of Elmira, NY. Paul is survived by his wife of 57 years, Augusta Blanc; daughters Karen (John) Wontor of Boise, ID, Paula Caruso of Lemoyne, PA, Patti Holton of Boise, ID, Dyan (Richard) Blanc-Goldhammer of Boise, ID, and Rome, Italy; 13 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Frank (Jean) Kerbein and John (Pauline) Kerbein; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
