Cheri,

I was shocked to hear of Eddie's passing, I am sorry sorry. After the shock started to pass, I started thinking about the things I knew about Eddie... He was a loving and caring man, who was on Fire for the Lord and loved to serve . While I never got to know Eddie very closely, every conversation I had with him was a great one. He loved life and he lived by "Love God, Love People, Serve the world"!

While I know it is hard for us on earth to understand why our loved ones are taken away from us early, know that while on earth Eddie made a difference here in peoples lives and I am sure he is doing the same in heaven.

I will continue to pray that you find a peace that passes all understanding and find rest in the Lord.

Love your sister in Christ,

Josh Elias

Cheri (and family),

There are so many wonderful things that can be said about Eddie. From his big, bright smile to how he loved listening to music and dancing to how he was always kind and friendly to everyone, regardless of how well he knew them. I'm so glad that Darcey, the girls and I had the opportunity to know him and share so many fun times with him. I'll never forget our conversations about Bigfoot.

We will miss you, Eddie.

Cheri,

Cheri and family,
We just wanted to send you a hug and to let you know how sorry we are to hear about Eddie. We first met Eddie at the Fall Fun Fest while he tended to the milk jug game. He kept chattering all day long no matter how hot and kept the kids coming over to play. He certainly was one of those people that once you meet him you never forget him. Quite a gift I'd say! We certainly feel blessed to have had the privledge to have known him and will look forward to the day we all get to reunite. We will be lifting you and your family up in prayer - may you feel God's hand wrapped around you and know He is holding you tight. May you find comfort in the knowledge that you know where he is and that he is sitting at our Papa's feet.
Love, Jeff, Lori Wheeler and family

Sheri

Words can't express how sad I am for you and your whole family. Eddie touched so many lives. As I have told you before, Eddie was an inspiration for me. I remember standing in our kitchen with you on one of your many "candle visits" talking about him. He lived life to the fullest. He always had a smile on his face and when he asked how you were he always listened intently to what you said. He was such a genuine guy. He always had time- he always made time. He had such a caring heart and a kind spirit. He somehow brought out the best in me just by who he was and I would guess that he did that for many. And you know isn't that a big part of what life is really all about? Living your life in such a way that you bring out the best in those around you. That was "Eddie Stofferson" for me.

I could go on and on. I'm so sad that Eddie left us so suddenly and so soon. But I'm grateful that the two of you found your church family. I know Eddie is in Heaven right now looking down on all of us.

Just the same, I will miss my dancing partner.

Love to you always
Darcey

Dick----You left us way too soon. I'll surely miss our early morning rides in the elevator at Dresser Rand.
I know you are in a better place, just wish we could have kept you in our lives a little bit longer. But all of us who were fortunate enough to have known you as a friend and co-worker are better people because you touched our lives. Rest easy, my friend.

Cheri,
I started getting to kow Eddie better at Leadership Summit. I enjoyed every moment with the 2 of you. I guess God needed a bus driver and you know everyone on that bus is smiling and happy, including Eddie. Cheri I am praying that "the peace of God which transends all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus" I am so sorry for your loss. I love you. Nancy Hendrickson

My childhood memories with Richard and his family are the best anyone could ever ask for. All of us "kids"around the dinner table with Aunt Betty and Uncle Reed, laughing just because...and the wonderful times at Waneta lake.
My deepest and loving thoughts are sent to ALL of you.
