MaryAnne,
I was so saddened to hear of the loss of this wonderful man and your soulmate. My sympathy goes out to you and all of your family.

"Bob Stout" will always be ingrained in my memories. He was always "Bob Stout" because just "Bob" didn't convey the personna that accompanied the man.

"Bob Stout" was a best friend to my now deceased parents, Fran & Ken Hines, and I have fond memories of his presence as a youngster. I was always thrilled when the Stouts came to visit.

"Bob Stout" was a big man. AND law enforcement. Yet I never felt intimidation. He always had that big belly laugh and jokes to initiate them. To this day, I will always have an affinity for the "swords" (garnishes) that New Year's revelers brought home back in the day from the celebrations. New Year's was always a big thing. If my recall is correct, this was followed by the early a.m. serving of steak, eggs and homefries - something I have put together in various get-togethers in my adult life.

Who would know that these little things would carry on through others' lives!

"Bob Stout", you are truly missed!!!
