Jock, Roger A.

Roger A. Jock, 81, of Lowman, NY, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016 at the Sayre Health Care Center. He was born on March 22, 1935 in Cornwall, NY, son of the late Frank and Martha (Van Buskirk) Jock. He was owner/operator of Roger's Sports Center until his retirement. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Horseheads, NY and also the American Legion Riders. Roger is survived by his daughter Susan Jock of Indiana and lifelong friend Corky Sherman. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services are private and will be at the convenience of his family and friends. The Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street Wellsburg, NY has been entrusted with the arrangements.

I grew up near Roger and his parents. He was a good neighbor and always ready to help us kids when our go kart wouldn't start. Over the years our family bought everything from saddles, to horse trailers to campers from Roger. Good memories.
