Ruby Thorne Obituary
formerly of Westfield, PA
96, died Friday, December 14, 2007. Born September 20, 1911, in Mannington, WV, she was the daughter of James D. and Bertha Jane Toothman Jones. On February 19, 1932, in Fairview, WV, she married Addison Thorne, who predeceased her in 1961. She was a homemaker and a member of the Potter Brook Happy Hour Club. Surviving are: three sons, James (Crystle) Thorne of Middlebury Center, Arthur (Pat) Thorne of Westfield, and Aaron (Bessie) Thorne of Galeton; two daughters, Barbara (John) McNeill of Osceola, and Betty (David) Inghram of Hanes City, FL; seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; a sister, Bessie (Arthor) Stuckey of Knoxville; nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by three brothers. Friends may call Monday, December 17th, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, where Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Duane Burdick will officiate. Burial will be in Mills Cemetery.
