Theodore Compton Obituary
Wellsboro, PA: Theodore Brian Compton, 56, of Wellsboro, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2013, at his residence. He was born in Wellsboro January 22, 1957 a son of Theodore R. and Vida Mae Webster Compton. He graduated from Wellsboro High School in 1975. He married the former Natalie Short August 15, 1981 and she survives. He was a self-employed telecommunications service worker for over 20 years. He was a member of the N.R.A. and enjoyed hunting. He enjoyed nature and gardening, making maple syrup and was a logging sawyer. He was an avid reader, especially of history, and enjoyed non-fiction books and classic movies. He was a Penn State and NY Yankee fan. He loved American roots music and playing guitar and mandolin with his father and brother. Besides his wife of 32 years Natalie, he is survived by his father, Theodore R. Compton of Middlebury Center; three sons, T. Nathan Compton of Lawrenceville, Charles Compton (Jennifer), Spencer Compton; and a daughter, Elizabeth Compton all of Wellsboro; four sisters, all of Wellsboro, Debbie Youmans, Denise Gee, Deanna Powell and Danelle Fuller; one brother, Thad Compton of Mansfield. Molly and Samson, his two Bernese Mountain dogs, also survive. Mr. Compton's Life Celebration will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 5, 2013, at the Holliday Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Holliday with his pastor, Rev. Erik J. Ferguson, officiating. Friends and relatives may call at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, "a Life Celebration Home". 139 Main St., Wellsboro, Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Holliday. www.lifecelebration.com

Dear Natalie, I am shocked and so sorry for your loss. I had no idea this was going on in your life. I lost my Dad when I was 24, my Mom a few years ago.
