Thomas Close Obituary
Thomas J. Close, 85, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away July 24, 2013 at the Green Home, Wellsboro. He was born October 16, 1927, in Blossburg, PA, the son of Jay & Josephine Gee Close. Mr. Close was a retired truck driver, and a WWII Navy Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, the former, Martha Campman, two sons & daughters-in-law, Guy & Jacqueline Close of SanDiego, CA, Jay & Karen Close of McKinney, TX, a daughter & son-in-law, Katherine & Ed Rollins of Boiling Springs, SC, five grandchildren, & three great grandchildren. In keeping with Thomas' wishes there will be no funeral services. A service of James A. Carleton Funeral Home Inc., Wellsboro, PA

The entire Close family. Tom was a close friend of my father and a good friend to me. I know he was very proud of his family and he will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
