After a long battle with cancer Retired SFC Wayne Lee McMillan went to be with the lord on June 10th 2012. Wayne was preceded in death by Father, John McMillan and brother, Floyd Mattox. Wayne is survived by wife Donna McMillan of Killeen TX, sons; Michael (Danielle) McMillan of Mansfield, PA, Wayne McMillan Jr of Killeen Tx, Keanan Tjelmeland of Chandler, AZ, Brandon McMillan of Copperas Cove, TX, Arnold Washington of Austin TX, daughter Nicole Smith of Shaw AFB, SC and grandchildren Izaiah, Lukas and Laila McMillan of Mansfield PA. He is also survived by brothers James, Willey, Herman, Mark(Mary Ann) and Sisters Shirley, Janet, Elecia (Carlton), Johna (Pete), Theresa all of New York, and Mother Mattie Mattox. Wayne was a N.C.O in the United State Army, and retired after 21 years of service with the classification of Sergeant First Class. He loved playing poker, throwing darts and spending time with his family. Wayne also was a rabid football fan as long as his beloved Dallas Cowboys were playing. Friends and family are invited to visit or call Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, Thursday June 14th from 10:00am to 12:00PM for the viewing ,with a graveside ceremony to be held following the service at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.

Hello Donna and Family , I just found out Today ( 7-10 - 2012) that Wayne pass away, I know he had an Army family but he also had a Wake Forest family that Loved him as well, and I'm one of many who are sad today to learn of Our Friend "Raisin", which was the Nick Name we gave him at Wake, had passed away.. You have a Our deepest sympathy and you and the entire family will be in our prayers..

Donna , no words can express my feelings in your rough time , I can only tell you how much we care for you and wish that everything will be o.k. in time . I have also learned through my loses that there are no answers to what you might be asking , only God can answer those when we finally meet him in heaven . Again I am so sorry for your lose . Words can never express how "Mac's" friends in the dart world felt about him. Always a smile and laughter as he greeted each dart player as they entered a dart hall and we all knew that it came from his heart. the respect and friendship he had for everyone was just outstanding. He will so be missed by all of us. God has received a great person this week.

You put up one hell of a fight Mac and as you always did everything - you gave it your all. Now you can rest without pain. We will miss your laugh and silly ways and you will always be remembered as the person who would joke and laugh the whole time he is beating you in darts.
