William Pastore Obituary

William J. Age 60, of 701 Magee Street, Watkins Glen, NY, died Monday, September 5, 2005, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. William was born in Montour Falls, NY, on April 9, 1945, the son of the late John and Dorothy Scholtisek Pastore. He was an avid sports fan, athlete, enjoyed a good ball game and working in his garden. He had a great love for animals, especially his K-9 friends. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Discenza Pastore; brother, Jack (Marttie) Pastore, Egg Harbor, NJ, and their children, Patricia Pastore of Philadelphia, PA, and Stacy (Dean) Gaudioso of Ocean City, NJ; sister, Sandy (Dave) Pulleyn of Ithaca, NY, and their children, Mary (Matt) Shelton of Ashburn, VA, and Michelle Pulleyn of Dryden, NY; sister, Sharon (Tom) deRoos of Watkins Glen; father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Catherine Discenza of Watkins Glen; sister-in-law, Virginia (John) Yeager of Watkins Glen, and their daughter, Hollie Heath (Clint Kellogg) of Burdett; sister-in-law, Patricia (Robert) Nelk of Rochester, NY, and children, Emma Nelk and Joseph and Anthony Nelk; grandmother-in-law, Rose Discenza of Watkins Glen. Earlier this year, Bill was predeceased by his dear friend, "brother," Michael Franzese; and his beloved K-9 companion, "Bandit." Friends may call at the Haughey-Wood Funeral Home, 119-5th St., Watkins Glen, on Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 9 a.m. at St. Mary's of the Lake Church, with the Rev. Paul Bonacci. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Schuyler Humane Society, P.O. Box 427, Montour Falls, NY 14865.
