Arthur Ossmen Obituary

Arthur Douglas Ossmen (Grandpa Goofy), 68, of Menan, Idaho, passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 23, 2025, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born August 4, 1957, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Arthur Crofts Ossmen and Carol Levin. Arthur Married Corrina Bess Guyman on July 14, 1979, and together they raise two sons, Scott and Christopher. They lived for a time in Kansas while Arthur worked in the oil fields before returning to Idaho and settling in Rigby. After their divorce in 2022, Arthur moved to Menan. He worked for Idahoan Foods for 40 years and he also worked in the oil fields. Arthur was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, and taking them to the park for ice cream after work. Known affectionately as "Grandpa Goofy," he enjoyed watching Goofy movies with them, a nickname that reflected his fun and loving nature. Arthur is survived by his former wife, Corrina; son Scott (Daphney); siblings Leslie O. Eck (Danny), Linda O. Ward, and David Ossmen; and four grandchildren Tripp, Chloe, Ronin, and Jethro Ossmen. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Christopher, and his sister Lalani.

Arthur will be remembered for his gentle heart, his devotion to family, and the joy he brought to those who loved him. He will be dearly missed. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.eckersellfuneralhome.com
