Christopher Damron Obituary
Born on August 12, 1957, in Bethesda, MD, he was the son of Bert Lee Damron, Jr. (Margaret Consiglio) of Wilmington, DE, and the late Gertrud Heistercamp Damron. He spent much of his life in Montgomery County, MD, and was a graduate of Paint Branch High School, Class of 1975. Chris had a long career in Heating and Cooling, working for many years with Kensington Cooling and Heating in Montgomery County before establishing Damron Heating and Cooling in 2007. He had a passion for HVAC and habit of examining every system he encountered.
Chris dreamed of living on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. In 2004, he moved to Kent Island with his wife, Tina. If Chris wasn't working, you could find him lifting weights at Island Athletic, boating around the Bay, and spending time with his many friends and family. He was also a lifelong Redskins fan, and proudly displayed his many recreational football league trophies in his home.
In addition to his father, Chris is survived by his wife, Tina Damron; step-daughters, Dawn Johnson (Justin Harber) of Alexandria, VA and Amanda James (Michael) of Valley, AL; granddaughter, Luciana James; siblings, Mark Damron (Elva) of Riva, MD, Michael Damron (Alison Brown) of Chapel Hill, NC, Bert Damron, III (Cheryl) of Phoenix, AZ, Paul Damron (Barb) of Paoli, PA, and Monica Turner (Tom) of Paoli, PA; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 24, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, P.A. in Chester, MD. Service will be held on Friday, Aug. 25, 2017, at 11 a.m. followed by burial in Stevensville Cemetery.

Chris was one of the nicest guys I have ever known and an exceptional human being. A man of strong character and integrity. He was always smiling and was tough as nails. He was a great client and an excellent HVAC Engineer! He will be missed beyond measure. I send my deepest condolences and will keep his family in my prayers.

We are just shocked to hear this news. We send our deepest condolences to the Damron family. Chris was so awesome...had our boat next to him for a few seasons...he fixed my AC in my truck one afternoon...and was always full of laughter and kindness. Rest in peace.

Chris was a hard working, honest, and selfless man who did for others as he would want for himself or his family. I was lucky enough to have him work on my HVAC system and he always gave me a fair price. I was honored to be one of his practicianers. I was saddened to hear he had left us so soon. He will be missed by many. My heart felt condolences go out to his family.
