Edith Roe Obituary

Edith Ann Roe passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the age of 92.

Edith was born on March 31, 1932 in Easton, Maryland to the late Williams J. Spence and Emma Naber Spence. She attended Cordova High School, graduating class of 1949. On November 15, 1951, she married Donald B. Roe.

Mrs. Roe was very active with her church, St. Paul's Lutheran. She was an organist at the church for many years. In addition to music, she enjoyed quilting, cooking, cake decorating and puzzles.

Mrs. Roe is survived by two sons, Dale L. Roe, Sr. (Margaret) and Michael A. Roe, Sr. (Sandy). Three grandsons; Dale L. Roe, Jr. (Laura), Michael A. Roe, Jr. and Miles A. Roe (Christina). Four great granddaughters, Gabi, Lexi, Lani and Amelia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald B. Roe and all of her siblings.

The family will receive guests and friends at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 12095 Blades Road, Cordova, MD on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 1pm until 2pm. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2pm. Burial will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery.
