Gilbert Passwaters Obituary
He was born on Jan. 27, 1935 in Cambridge, Md. and was a son of the late Virgil Passwaters and Ruth Susan Cannon Passwaters. On Jan. 31, 1954, he married the former Irene Williamson.
Gilbert was known as a professional musician, playing many shows during his lifetime. Some of his favorite past times besides playing music included boating and fishing. He also had a passion for animals, especially dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Passwaters of Federalsburg; two sons: Michael Passwaters and his wife Christine of Seaford; Gilbert Passwaters Jr. and his wife Kelli of Denton; four grandsons: Corey Passwaters, Chad Passwaters, Michael Passwaters, Andrew Passwaters; two great grandchildren; two step-sisters: Lisa Passwaters and Laura Passwaters; and one step-brother, G. Thomas Keplinger.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. Interment will be private. Family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Delaware SPCA, P.O. Box 398, Georgetown, DE 19947.
