Gloria Kelley Obituary
She was a devoted former Sunday School teacher at Kent Island United Methodist Church and dedicated her career to serving in a variety of roles within the Queen Anne's County school system, where she touched countless lives with her kindness and commitment. Married for 69 years, she found great joy in her travels to Dutch Country and Myrtle Beach with her husband Louis. She had a year-round Christmas spirit, and her heart was rooted in her faith and family, both of which she held dear. Her warmth, devotion, and gentle spirit left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Gloria is survived by her loving husband Louis Kelley, their daughter Luann Walker (John), Grandchildren Kyle Walker, Kristin Bennett (Lewis), Great Grandchildren Parker, Wade, Logan, Walter, Willow, and her brother Jerry Pierson (Bonnie) and numerous nieces and nephews on the Eastern Shore.
A visitation will be held at Kent Island Methodist Church, 2739 Cox Neck Road, Chester, MD, on Thursday May 15th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Burial will take place prior to the Funeral at Stevensville Cemetery at 9:30am on May 16th. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday May 16th, at Kent Island Methodist Church 2739 Cox Neck Road Chester MD 21619.
