Kenneth Carter Obituary

Kenneth Harper Carter of Easton, MD passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025, at the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton. He was 66 years old. He was born in Chestertown, MD, on July 5, 1959, the son of the late Donald Harper Carter and Alta (Stowman) Carter. He graduated from Kent County High School with the class of 1977. After graduating, he began a lifelong career doing lawn care and landscaping. He enjoyed spending time with friends and listening to his favorite rock bands.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Diana Hackett and April Stafford.

He is survived by his sisters: Linda "Lyn" Carter of Greensboro, MD, Robin Resch and family from NC, and Debbie Carter of DE; brother, David Carter of Washington, D.C.; nephews: Leo "Dusty" Hackett and family of Chestertown, MD and Kyle Hackett of Washington, D.C.; niece, Missy Malone and family of Detroit, MI; and his dear friends, Diana Murphy and her husband, and Kim Donahue. At Kenneth's request, no formal services will be held.
