Lynne Price Shostak

Lynne Price Shostak, of Easton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. She was 74.

Born on May 4, 1951, in Easton, MD she was the daughter of the late Melvin E. Price and Hazel Draper Price. She graduated from Easton High School and attended Penn State. Beginning in 1985, she worked with her mother and father at Price's Music Store and Tammy's Children's Wear. In 1992, she took over operations at Tammy's, one of Easton's longest running family retail businesses, until the store closed in 2014. She then assisted her daughter in opening and operating Bespoke Aesthetics, a successful business in Georgetown, DC.

In July of 2015, Lynne met Andrew Mackel at Banning's Tavern in Easton, and they were married in 2017 at the Tidewater Inn. For Lynne, finding such love and compatibility at 64 was truly a blessing.

Everyone knew of her love of Elvis and that she was a devoted line dancer for over 30 years.

Her greatest joy and proudest achievements, though, were her family. She was utterly dedicated to creating their memories. Lynne's contribution to her children's businesses were immense and she was so proud of their success in DC. It was her dream come true.

Lynne was tenacious, funny, loyal and trustworthy, the bedrock and foundation of her family. There was nothing she could not do, and always encouraged others to do the same saying, "You can do this!" Her absence is profound, but we will carry her with us always.

Along with her husband, Andy, Lynne is survived by her children, Adrienne M. Shostak, of Georgetown Washington, DC; and Brandon W. Shostak, of Easton, MD; along with her beloved grandchildren, Annalise, Lillian, Graham and Leo. She is also survived by her siblings, Christine Collison (Pat), Sharon Miller (Leroy), Marline Gross (Less). Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Gail Newcomb.

The family will receive guests and friends on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 4pm until 5pm at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, 200 S. Harrison St. Easton. A funeral service will follow at 5pm with Rev. Bob Davis officiating. Interment will be private.
