Margaret Ann Satterfield

1942 - 2018

GREENSBORO - Margaret Ann Satterfield, 76, of Greensboro, passed away on April 17, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on Jan. 28, 1942, to the late Charles E. "Jack" and Ethel Kemp Walls, in Sudlersville, MD.
She graduated from Sudlersville High School in 1960 and went on to work for Rech Glove factory and Greensboro Garment and was a business partner with her husband in Interstate Battery.
She married William Wooters Satterfield for 57 years and together they had four children.
She volunteered for the Samaritan Shop and was a member of AARP.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Satterfield is preceded in death by her sister, Francis Satterfield; and great grandchild, Garrett.
She is survived by her husband, William; daughters: Peggy Conley (Gene), of Greensboro; Paula Penn (Mike), of Denton; Pam Keating (Tony), of Denton; son, William D. Satterfield Sr., of Denton; brother, Wayne Walls, of Fairlee; sisters: Betty Calloway, of Centreville; Patsy Shields, of Seaford; Bonnie Lofland, of Centreville; grandchildren: Ashley, Theresa, Brittany, Billy Jr., Casie, Lauren, Joseph, Alex; great grandchildren: Dylan, Derrick, Drake, Ethan, Natalie, Andrea Briella; and another great grandson is expected in June.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Greensboro Lions Club at P.O. Box 429, Greensboro, MD 21639.
A funeral service will be held at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home in Greensboro at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 20, with a visitation from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Greensboro Cemetery.
