Mark Christopher Obituary

Mark Christopher, 74, of Easton, MD died on August 23, 2025.

Mark was born in Stuttgart, Germany, on June 22, 1951, the son of Dorsey Christopher and Ruth (Hammond) Christopher. Mark grew up in Preston, MD where he was a very social and active child and adolescent, involved in many sports and activities.

Mark was a carpenter and general contractor and had a love for building things. Mark's talents were often sought out for repair, restoration, and renovation of historic homes with unique craftsmanship needs. Mark had a larger than life smile and a laugh that filled any room he entered. He is survived by his sister, Carol Moore; son, Dale Christopher; and daughter, Casey Amos.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, 200 S. Harrison Street, Easton, MD, where friends and family may visit from 1pm - 3pm.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution in memory of Mark and his love of nature to Adkins Arboretum "In Memory of Mark Christopher", through their website at adkinsarboretum.org or by check to: 12610 Eveland Rd, Ridgely, MD 21660.
