Michael Anthony Campbell

1950 - 2025

Michael "Mike" Anthony Campbell passed away at the age of 74, on November 7, 2025. He was born on December 29, 1950, in Baltimore, Maryland to Jack and Ginny Campbell.

Mike truly believed that his purpose in life was to serve - God, his family, his friends, and his community. He dedicated his life to helping the least of our brethren.

In the 1970s, he settled on Maryland's Eastern Shore in Caroline County, where his career spanned four decades within the Maryland state and local mental health systems. He worked for Juvenile Services, Social Services, and the Caroline and Talbot County Mental Health Clinics, where he served as Director for more than 20 years. His selfless spirit and unwavering commitment touched countless lives and left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Throughout his life, he found great purpose in serving others, volunteering with The Joseph House, Martin's House & Barn, the Knights of Columbus, Samaritan House, and many other community organizations.

A true Baltimore sports fan at heart, he cheered for the Ravens with the same devotion he once gave the Colts, and he never stopped believing the Orioles' next season would be the one. His passion for sports found its greatest joy in coaching his three children through the years.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of more than 50 years, Nancy Campbell; their three children, John (Anne), Ellen (Matt), and Greg (Emma); and his cherished grandchildren, Michael, Theresa, and Ian. He is also survived by his two brothers Peter, Wallace and their families.

Funeral Mass, Saturday January 10, 2026, at 11:00 am at St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church, 408 Central Avenue, Ridgley Maryland, 21660.
