Michael Ptaszynski Obituary

Mike was born in Baltimore, MD to Michael and Louise (Hauptman) Ptaszynski. Mike had only one brother, William (deceased).

Mike served his country, honorably and proudly, in the U.S. Air Force from 1960-1964. He worked at Armco Steel from 1964-1970. He applied and graduated from the Maryland State Police Academy in 1970. He was a road trooper, later joined the Aviation Division of the MSP as a Medic, then finished his career as a Jet Ranger Helicopter pilot; retiring with 20 years of faithful duty. After retirement "Ski" and wife Dottie moved from Easton, MD to Citrus County, FL. This past June they celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary surrounded by their amazingly wonderful and growing family and "long-time" friends in Queen Anne's County.

A "Celebration of Life" for Mike "Ski" will be held (date TBD).
