Nina Cummings Obituary

Nina Jean Cummings, age 86, of Preston, Maryland, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025. Born on August 2, 1938, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the beloved daughter of the late Bill Frampton and Hilda (Tolsen) Frampton.

Nina was a cherished wife to her late husband, Leon Cummings. She is survived by her two loving children, Bonnie (Tony) Remeikis and Michael (Pam) Cummings, as well as her adored grandchildren: Jason, AJ, Ashleigh, Ryan, and Mallary. She is preceded in death by her husband and son Greg.

Throughout her life, Nina had a passion for word search puzzles, bird watching, and collecting chickens. Her warmth, kindness, and cheerful spirit touched everyone she met, leaving a lasting impact on her family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, from 12 PM to 1 PM at Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newnam Funeral Home in Easton, MD. Burial will follow at Junior Order Cemetery in Preston, MD.

Nina will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
