Regis Storch Obituary

Dr. Regis T. Storch, age 87, passed away on December 28, 2025.

He was born to Theodore and Gwendolyn Storch on October 16, 1938 and was one of six children: Mona, Nancy, Joan, Donald and David.

Dr. Storch was married to his beloved wife, JoAnne Galvin, with whom he shared a life ingrained with devotion to family, service, and community.

He was the proud father of five children: Sandy, Ted, Susan, Katie, and Joe, the cherished grandfather of nine grandchildren: Thomas, Max, Emma, Sara, Conner, Oliver, Jonathan, Kate and Taylor; great-grandfather of three great grandchildren: Allie, Ronnie and Bella; as well as uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.

Dr. Storch served his country with honor in the United States Navy for nine years. Following his military service, he dedicated his professional life to caring for children as a beloved pediatrician, earning the trust and affection of countless families through his compassion, skill, and steady presence.

Outside of medicine, he found joy in fishing, sailing, gardening, cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and-most memorably-telling jokes that never failed to bring smiles to those around him. His humor, kindness, and genuine interest in others were hallmarks of his character.

Dr. Regis T. Storch will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, dedicated physician, and loyal friend. His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched with care, laughter, and generosity.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on January 2, 2026, at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Easton, Maryland. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m.

Dr. Storch was steadfast, level-headed and practical in his care of the numerous children under his charge. In short, he was a wonderful physician, made the health of any child his top priority, a good listener and sorter between fact and fiction. So glad we could count on him through the normal childhood maladies. To all his family, thank you for sharing this wonderful human with all of us and please accept our heartfelt condolences.
