Roger Sawyer Obituary
Roger dedicated many years as a skilled carpenter, working extensively throughout Maryland and Delaware. His craftsmanship and dedication to his trade left a lasting impact on many homes in the region.
A passionate sports fan, Roger especially loved watching the Ravens play. His enthusiasm for the game brought joy and excitement to all who watched the games with him.
Roger is survived by his daughter, Belinda Sawyer and her spouse Josh Horseman, and his son, Chris Sawyer. He was preceded in death by his brother, Louie Sawyer.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11, at Gateway Church of Christ in Mardela at 11 AM. The family invites attendees to bring a photo or a special story about Roger to share.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Cancer Institute of your choice in memory of Roger.
