Sally Ewing Obituary

Sally Ewing, affectionately known as Sally Anne, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2024, at the age of 65. Born on August 2, 1959, in Easton, MD, she was the cherished daughter of Billy and Ginny Adams and grew up in the picturesque town of St. Michael's, MD.

Sally was a devoted mother to her two sons, Jeffrey Schultz II (Marsha) and Danny Schultz (Leah), and a proud grandmother to her five beloved grandchildren: Nate, Brody, Pyper, Ari, and Aubrey. She found immense joy in spending time with her family, creating lasting memories that will be treasured forever.

A graduate of St. Michael's High School, Sally pursued her passion for nursing and earned her associate's degree from Chesapeake College in 1991. She dedicated her career to caring for others, working at Easton Memorial Hospital, Benedictine School, and Crossroads for special needs care. Her compassion and commitment to her patients made a lasting impact on many lives.

Sally was an active member of her community, enjoying shopping, participating in her church's Bible study group, and nurturing her faith at Bridge Community Church in Federalsburg, MD. Her warm spirit and kind heart touched everyone she met.

Sally is survived by her loving sons, Jeffrey and Danny, their wives Marsha and Leah, and her adoring grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Pam Schultz, and Diana Abbott, and many nieces and nephews who will carry her memory in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Ginny Adams, and her brother Bill Adams II.

A visitation will be held at Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newnam Funeral Home on November 18, 2024, from 10 AM to 12 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12 PM. Burial will take place at Spring Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Bridge Community Church in Federalsburg, MD, in honor of Sally's loving spirit and dedication to her faith.

Sally Ewing will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and service will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

I met Sally as a young girl when she would ride with her grandmother delivering mail to the Bozman Store. I had the pleasure of reconnecting with her when she came to work on 2 East at the hospital in Easton. She had just learned how to start IV´s and wanted to stick anything that wasn´t moving to perfect her skill. Sally was very passionate about people and her work being done well.
You left a lasting impression on so many.
