Timothy Hartnett Obituary

Timothy Hartnett of Easton passed away peacefully at home on Nov 9, 2023, after battling metastatic prostate cancer for 18 months.

Tim was born and raised in NYC. He joined the NYPD in 1967 and enjoyed a 34-year career, retiring as a 1st Grade Homicide Detective.

Tim and Jean were married in 1987. Their platonic relationship morphed into a love story lasting 36 years. The blended family of 4 boys and 1 girl quickly became a whole unit.

There will be a mass for Tim on Saturday, December 2nd, at Sts. Peter & Paul Church in Easton, MD at 11:00am, preceded by visitations at 10:00am. A luncheon celebrating his life will be held at the Family Life Center adjacent to the church immediately following the mass.

Memorial donations in Tim's honor may be made to Talbot County Hospice, 586 Cynwood Drive, Easton MD 21601.
