William Sard Obituary

William Harold "Billy" Sard Jr, aged 65, of Easton, Maryland, passed away on July 7, 2024 at Talbot Hospice.

Billy served in the US Coast Guard from 1980 to 1984, where he met his wife Laura Strojny. They married May 29, 1982. Two amazing children completed their family. Billy took up HVAC work after his military discharge and built multiple successful businesses with his families help until 2014. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, making moon shine, and enjoying his time with friends and family. His passion was building hot rods to enjoy with his wife and children. He deeply enjoyed going to car shows all over from Ocean City to the mountains. "Rolling the bowl" in his 1971 Nova with his son was a favorite thing to do in the evenings.

Billy is survived by his son, Billy G. Sard and his wife, Jessica, of Federalsburg; his daughter, Christina M. Peterson and her husband, Andrew, of Ocala, Florida; grandsons Gavin, Jameson, and Maverick; and his brother, Stacy (Christa) of Trappe, Md; And his soul mate and wife, Laura M Sard. He was preceded in death by his parents, William H. Sard, Sr. and Janet Lee Sard, and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Memorial arrangements will be made at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Billy can be made to Talbot Hospice, 586 Cynwood Ave, Easton, MD 21601, or online at Talbothospice.org.
