Barry Edwards Obituary
Barry Eugene Edwards, of Culpeper, VA, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022, at his residence at the age of 65. He was born September 25, 1956, to Clyde Lewis Edwards, Sr. and Lillian Blankenship Edwards.
Barry was a Master Electrician by trade all his life who, along with his father, started Edwards Plumbing and Electric, quickly becoming well known not only for their expert customer service, but also as a respected and reliable resource to the community, making many friends along the way. Known to always have a smile and a laugh to share, Barry was known as a friend to many and was loved as a wonderful son, brother, father, and friend to all he met. He enjoyed hunting, riding his Harley and was a professional at getting any vehicle stuck in the snow; he was one of a kind and loved his family unconditionally; no more anguish, anxiety or troubles- just peace finally rejoicing in the light of the Lord.
Barry is survived by his mother Lillian Edwards, his wife Susan Dodson Edwards, his children, Barry Edwards, Jr. (Susan), Autumn Yowell (Randi), Sterling Edwards (Melanie), Kynan Edwards (Shannon), Paige Pilkington and Remington Edwards; five grandchildren, Ethan Edwards, Evan Edwards, Nathan Yowell, Alaina Yowell and Layla Edwards; four brothers, Clyde L. "Mutt" Edwards, Jr., Douglas Edwards (Tiffany), Timothy Edwards (Alessa), Scott Edwards (Christy), Additional survivors include many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceded in death by his father, Clyde Lewis Edwards, Sr., a grandson Cody Yowell and nephew Douglas "Keith" Edwards, II.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until service time with a 1:00 p.m. Funeral Service in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper, VA. Interment will follow services in Madison Memorial Gardens, 1285 Orange Road, Pratts, VA 22731.

As a friend of Barry, Mutt, Tim, I am forever grateful not only of the friendship in high school and beyond, but the care the Edwards family showed my parents before and after my father passed. My family joked that your family was always a part of our family holidays as you always came to our plumbing or electrical rescues whenever we had family overload. God bless you and your family.
