Carroll Coffey Obituary
Carroll Thomas Coffey, 74 of Locust Grove, VA passed away on Dec. 2, 2021 at Mary Washington Hospital, Fredericksburg, VA.
He was born on April 13, 1947 in Charlottesville, VA a son of the late Emmett Elmer Coffey and Bertha Woody Coffey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepson, Mason Gray, Jr. and two brothers, Larry and Stephen Coffey.
Mr. Coffey worked as an electrician and in construction. He was a veteran serving in the U. S Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Daisy Coffey; three children, Michele (Tex) Ralls, Tasha Carratura and Tina (Mark) Pritchett; one sister, Barbara Utz; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, Dec. 9 from 10:30 AM until the funeral service begins at 11:30 AM at Wilderness Baptist Church, 9701 Plank Rd., Spotsylvania, VA. Interment following at Laurel Hill Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
