Kenneth Dempsey Obituary

Kenneth Wayne Dempsey Kenneth Wayne Dempsey, age 60, of Brandy Station died Friday, June 17, 2011 at his residence. He was born July 29, 1950 in Washington, D.C. to the late Edward L. Sr. and Mary Foust Dempsey.

Kenneth loved fishing, swimming and cherished his family.

He is survived by his siblings, Diane Hooks and her husband, Bobby of Remington, Jimmy Dempsey of Elkwood and Jenny Fewell of Flint Hill. Also surviving is his sister in law, Elizabeth Alice Dempsey and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and close friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie Dempsey and Bobby Dempsey.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, Va.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Sandy Martin officiating.

Interment will follow in Remington Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Lt. Bobby Dempsey, Michael Turner, Ricky Taylor, Russell Utterback, Doug Paschall, and Bobby Hooks.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Liver Foundation, 39 Broadway, Suite 2700, New York, NY 10006. An online guestbook and tribute wall is available at www.foundandsons.com

Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is handling the arrangements.
