Carolee IronBear Obituary

God wrapped his arms around our shining star, Carolee Ann IronBear, 47, and called her home Friday, Dec. 14, 2012.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21 at the Lakota Lutheran Center in Scottsbluff. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff.
A wake will be held Wednesday, Dec. 19 and Thursday, Dec. 20.
Carolee was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, cousin and friend. She was born in Crawford on Feb. 26, 1963 to Lincoln and Hazel (Marshal) IronBear. She moved to Scottsbluff in 1965 where she obtained her education. Carolee was a stay at home mother, who loved to crochet, cook and took pride in taking care of her grandkids. She never met a stranger that didn't become her friend.
She gave the special gift of life to her children, Deanna (Jose Garcia), Hazel IronBear of Scottsbluff, Elgie (Lolita) IronBear, Robert Iron Bear, David IronBear all of Lincoln, and Isaac IronBear of Denver. Survivors also include her sisters, Clarinda (Rick) Lame, Alice IronBear of Scottsbluff and Kimberly IronBear of Lincoln and nine grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; grand-parents; brothers, Sylvan and Roger IronBear and Charles Janis; sisters, Kathy and Verdeen, two infant children and an infant grandchild.
