Cheryl (Chikos) Dinnel February 13, 1953-June 26, 2023 Cheryl (Chikos) Dinnel, 70, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, passed away at her home on Monday, June 26, 2023. Her memorial graveside service will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023, at 11 a.m., at Oregon Trail Memorial Cemetery in Bridgeport with Pastor Jonathan Seng officiating. Casual attire. Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel is assisting with services. Cheryl was born on February 13, 1953, at St. Mary's Hospital in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, to Pete J. Chikos and Marjorie A. (Pike) Chikos. She graduated from Bridgeport High School. She married Ronald R. Dinnel on October of 1980 in Torrington, Wyoming, and made their home in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Later they divorced. Cheryl worked for the State of Nebraska Road Department for 30 years, retiring in 2018. Survivors include her daughter, Sarah (Chris) Banghart; granddaughter, Thalia; sisters, Chris (Dave) Lancaster and Lorri (Steve) Streeks; nephew, Nathan Lancaster; niece, Lorrel Lancaster; nephews, Scott (Wendy) Streeks, Brad Streeks; niece, Christie (Jay) Gustafson. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Marjorie Chikos; brother, Brad Chikos; grandparents, George and Gladys Pike and John and Irene Chikos.
