Dustin LeMay Obituary

D-Bob was 34
Dustin passed away unexpectedly in his home. There will be a viewing and small prayer service at Dugan Kramer Funeral home on Thursday February 16th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. At a later date family will gather at his final resting place at the Carter Canyon Family Ranch. Fond memories and condolences for the family may be left at www.dugankramer.com

Dustin was born November 17, 1988, in Scottsbluff, to Dale LeMay and Kari Lynne (Vance, LeMay) Schaneman. He graduated from Scottsbluff High School in May 2007.
Dustin has been employed at Arby's, Sonic, Heggem Construction, and Scottsbluff Industries, where he was a welder and fabricator. He loved to design and build things. While working with Scottsbluff Industries, he did a lot of work with SHS. He helped fabricate the beams and handrails, and metal work. He also worked on the Torrington Prison, the Air Force Base in Cheyenne, and custom trailers.

Dustin had many passions: hunting, fishing, hiking; additionally, he was a big history buff of different wars in our history, and also of our surrounding area here in Nebraska and Wyoming. He knew the land well. He also enjoyed creating art, pottery, painting, concerts, music, reading, building things with wood, landscaping, and gardening. His love of wrestling still continued from the 2nd grade through 12th grade. Dustin loved knowledge and facts. This summer, he had planned to fulfill a longtime dream of hiking the Appalachian Mountains trails.
Dustin had a hardcore goofy and wild personality. He was a loyal and loving friend.
Survivors include his parents, Dale LeMay (aka OLD MAN) & (Elizabeth Gomez) & Kari Lynne (Vance, LeMay) & (Kevin) Schaneman; sister, Heather LeMay; Nieces, Savannah LeMay and Brianna LeMay; great-niece, Ramona LeMay; grandparents, Pauline LeMay and Allen & Ruth Vance; Aunts & Uncles, Rick LeMay, Linda Winburn, Terrie Vance, Barbara & (Tom) Shaw, Tim & (Kim) Vance, Mike & (Damaris) Schaneman, (Darrell) & Tammy Taylor, (Tim) & Michelle Perkins; and numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul LeMay, LeRoy & Mary Jo Schaneman; Nephew, Elijah Randall; and Uncle Richard Warner; and numerous great-aunts and uncles.
