My deepest sympathies to the family. My family was a neighbor during the 1960's. Steve and I were close friends.

I'll always appreciate how Grandma Frieda welcomed my sister and I and our husbands and children into the Schaneman family as if we were her own. I'll always have fond memories of being in her home on Christmas Eve - the kind of environment I hope to create in my own home someday - with food and children everywhere. And I can't imagine that I'll ever get to eat a rice crispie treat again that is as good as the ones she used to make! My thoughts and prayers are with all in the Schaneman family as we miss getting to be there this weekend.

I met Frieda at Emeral Court while visiting my grandma, who came to Emeral Court one day before Frieda. She was a great lady. We miss seeing her. Our prayers are with your family.
