Gary E Richard of Commerce City Co. passed away July 3rd, 2025. Gary was born September 3rd 1938 in a farm house near Minatare, Ne. to George and Mollie Richard. He was baptized October 2nd, 1938.

Gary grew up and delivered papers for the Star-Herald. He was awarded a "King Carrier" trophy. He graduated from Scottsbluff High School 1956. University of Nebraska 1961 with a Bachelor in Education. 1965 with a Masters in Education.

His first teaching job was in Pawnee City, Ne. He then taught in Des Moines IA for 3 years. He then spent 26 years in the Denver Public Schools until retirement.

Gary is survived by his sister Joyce Fulk of Scottsbluff. Numerous niece's and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Brother Harold Richard (Dorothy).

Sister Betty Kraus (Harry).

Brother Harvey Richard (Helen).

Sister Elnora Bauer (Don).

Brother Frank Richard.

Brother in law Harry Fulk.

Brother in law Vic Goss.

Special friend Richard Reynolds.

Cremation has taken place and his ashes will be placed next to Richard at Fairmount Cemetery. Denver Co.
